Coach Doc Huger, Director and owner of Desert Warriors, decided to pursued a dream to create an All-Star Cheer Team composed of the best cheerleaders that Yuma has to offer in order to compete locally and potentially nationally. 
 Coach Doc was born and raised in South Carolina, at a young age he started with gymnastics and the converted to competitive cheer. With over 20 years of experience, he brings vast variety of knowledge to coaching, tumbling, mentoring. 
 He was shown how to lead by example and how to apply your skills with determination from some of the best people in his life in cheer career. Not only his family but his mentor Mr. Randy Dickey & his long life cheer brother John Alexander.
 He has coached various high schools and all-star program teams being Novice, Prep and Elite levels from East coast to West coast with championship winning seasons. 

  In conclusion, Coach Doc will soon close the door to 20 years of dedicated service to our country as a United States Marine. He will continue to serve with his limitless abilities to train and make Desert Warriors All-Star cheerleading to be the best that they can be.
